I've made an exception to the "never been stitched" rule for this canvas. (this is, after all, my web site!) This piece was started for my former son-in-law. The animals -coyote, prairie dog and hare have been stitched and brushed, the armadillo has also been stitched. The coat is partially finished in Needlepoint Silk using a vertical and horizontal brick stitch. The canvas comes with the remaining Needlepoint Silk needed to finish the coat, and a variety of other threads I chose for a few different areas. I'm also including the unfinished stitch guide from Susan Portra as I was doing this piece in class with her.
