The striking designs in this bood are derived from the quilts made by the Amish of eastern Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Kansas who have their own traditions in patterns and in combinations of bold colors. These designs adapt well to the medium of needlepoint. 27 designs are given, many of them with suggested variations.
