Cindi Stocking 4-5-2007

Well, I finally bit the bullet and made a stocking for me. I have been looking for just the right ones for both my husband and myself. Our original stockings from the 1950's are looking pretty shabby. It's time to put them away in the chest. I did elegent Liz Tapestry Tent stockings for the girls and their husbands - (I just acquired a new son-in-law - his is the Texas Santa and was just started last night) but those were just not right for us. One of my wonderful clients sent these in for resale...needless to say they never made it on the web site. Her first check was pretty substantial. Anyway, I finished my stocking first because it was the more detailed one and then I can just copy what I need for Gary's. Susan did a marvelous job selecting stitches for it. I added the snowflake buttons-couldn't resist them!
